I began painting at a very young age.
Much attention is placed on technical subjects in Kenyan schools. This gave me a basic grounding in fine art, woodwork and metal in primary and highschool.
During these years I entered and excelled in various art competitions including the annual Kenyan National Museum in Nairobi’s competition for primary and high school with several awards between 3rd and 1st place
