ESTABLISHMENT

Eye on African Art was initiated in January 2007 for the sole purpose of promoting and offering upcoming artists with places to exhibit their work.

We capture, expose, nurture and promote African Art to both the local and international markets through exhibitions, workshops and trade fairs. Upcoming Kenyan artists have been denied the opportunity to exhibit and expose their artwork mainly from lacking adequate financial resources.

As a result, Eye on African Art was born with the intention of allowing such artists to exhibit their work and make their name known to everyone with an eye for African Art. Additionally, new artists are also accorded with the opportunity to expose their art work through our website.

Eye on African Art has a pool of talented artists and takes pride in being regarded as a “one-stop exhibition opportunity. Popular paintings in Eye on African Art exhibitions include Wildlife , Culture , Nature and Old Town / Lamu with the following artistic styles :-

  • Abstract
  • Expressionism
  • Surrealism
  • Impressionism
  • Realis
